Why Can't I Link My Instagram Account?

In order to view your Instagram metrics, you first need to make sure that your Instagram profile is a Business Account and is also linked to a Facebook Page.

  1. Login to Instagram
  2. Go to Settings and confirm that you see a section that says Business.
  3. If your Instagram is not a Business account (whether you have a Personal or Creator account) find the button that says Account
  4. When you click into Account, here you can switch by clicking on Switch Account Type (switch to Business account in order to link to PromoteKit)
  5. You’ll then be able to link your Instagram account through PromoteKit via your Facebook login.
